Alopecia Areata
Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease characterized by aberrant Th1-immune responses causing hair loss. our laboratory studies the role of T cells in disease pathogenesis to uncover immune mechanisms and develop new therapeutic strategies.

Innate T cells
Invariant natural killer T (iNKT), mucosal-associated invariant T (MAIT), and γδ T cells are innate T cells. Innate T cells acquire memory phenotypes in the thymus and share similar biological characteristics such as tissue residency and early effector function. We investigate how innate T cells develop, differentiate, and regulate immune responses.

Thymic B cells
As key components of adaptive immunity, B cells build our body's antibody repertoire. Thymic B cells are a rare population localized in the thymus; however, their precise role and impact on infectious diseases and autoimmunity remain poorly understood. To bridge this gap, our research investigates the phenotypic characteristics of thymic B cells and how they relate to immune regulation
